Gwen is a Human Resources Consultant and Executive Coach working primarily in the Higher Education Sector.

She has a passion for enabling people to achieve their potential through leadership development and coaching.

She has an enviable track record in supporting organisations to harness the potential of their people to achieve sustainable success.

Until 2009, Gwen was Director of Human Resources at De Montfort University in Leicester, a post she held for 8 years leading a team of 45 people providing HR, training and leadership development, academic professional development and occupational health safety and wellbeing services to this large successful university.

Prior to this Gwen held HR Director roles in the NHS and UK Post Office, as well as a senior consultancy role in leadership development and an academic post in HRM.  She brings extensive experience of organisational and leadership development, change and people management in three culturally diverse organisations. Gwen has particular knowedge and interest in the higher education sector, its culture and associated people management challenges.

Gwen has successfully coached many senior managers and Directors, both formally and informally, in Universities, the NHS and Post Office businesses.

She has also run a wide range of national and bespoke leadership development programmes which focus on the role of leaders in the delivery of culture change.

The purpose of my business is to provide cost-effective, independent, impartial advice and services to support Universities to achive their strategic objectives, or provide operational support to meet day to day challenges or deliver specific projects.

I have a broad experience and a detailed understanding about how Universities work.  I can be trusted to provide the professional and relevant support you need , for a fixed period without paying huge daily fee rates a management consultancy may charge.

I work on a flexible basis, and particularly enjoy assignments where my expertise has helped realise real change and beneficial results for the client.
